These Books Aren't All New??

Books are expensive. I tend to pick and review books that are both new & old. Many of these books you will be able to find on the shelves on your library as opposed to the front of your bookstore.

I believe that there are many hidden gems from years gone by & I enjoy highlighting those as well as today's best sellers.

I'm So Happy For You, by Lucinda Rosenfeld

As one friend starts to finally get her act together, the other's life takes a turn for the worst. This book is about pasting on the smile and being happy for someone while your grinding your teeth inside your mouth!

*again a book I read while under the influence so details of few. I would recommend it.

Beverly Hills Adjacent, by Jennifer Steinhauer and Jessica Hendra

Hollywood with a little of the shine taken off. I can only say that I remember enjoying this book, but do not remember details as I read it while quite high on drugs in the hospital!

The Fixer Upper, by Mary Kay Andrews

While cliches run rampant in this book full of Southern sweetness, this book is just good enough to pull it off without being smarmy. If you're lookin' to get lost in a small town full of kind-hearted & quirky people this book will be right up your alley.

My Booky Wook, by Russell Brand

I would not consider myself a fan of this British export, but I love a good biography. Brand's past exploits are enough to make you do a double take on many occasions.

The sheer, total level of honesty is amazing. If you like a good life story this book is worth picking up.
