These Books Aren't All New??

Books are expensive. I tend to pick and review books that are both new & old. Many of these books you will be able to find on the shelves on your library as opposed to the front of your bookstore.

I believe that there are many hidden gems from years gone by & I enjoy highlighting those as well as today's best sellers.

The Body of Jonah Boyd, David Leavitt

Photobucket

The Body of Jonah Boyd is a fiction book that's a little bit different than what I'm used to reading. A boy who's troubles begin and end at home, Ben's life gets wrapped up in that of his unorthodox family and their friends and hangers-on. His professor father's secretary, Denny not only becomes part of their life, but is having an affair with said professor.

There are no clear lines between who's good and who's bad, but are there really clear lines in real life?
